The ongoing incidents of terror attacks around the world is leading to focused attention on homeland security issues of all concerned in many countries, especially in this part of the world. Prevention, response and investigation, all require a number of technologies cutting across disciplines. Prevention of terrorist attacks and detection of perpetrators is become vital in this area.
CII has organised first SAFE 2005 exhibition and conference on Safety and Security along with CII’s Flagship event IETF- 2005 held in New Delhi. This was followed by the next two editions - 2007 in New Delhi and 2009 in Bengaluru - both as focused shows along with IETF.
The CII’s 4th Edition of SAFE 2010 – International Exhibition and Conference on Internal and Homeland Security – was held from 28th to 30th July, 2010 at NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi, India,. SAFE 2010 was organized in close cooperation with the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO).
SAFE 2010 was also supported by American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM) Advancing UK Aerospace, Defence and Security Industries (ADS),(The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) CERT –IN Department of Information Technology, Government of India and Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI).
